A presentation by #SurvivorsMatter, a voluntary body that is making an impact in the fight against paedophilia.

There will also be a live performance by X Factor finalist Talia Dean.

The event is aimed at safeguarding and protecting children. Learn more about grooming, coercive control, exploitation and what you can do to spot the signs and join the work of those who fight to stop it happening.

Confirmed speakers are Lucy Grainger - survivor of CSA, Chris Harper - Patron of VCSA, Dr Donna Peach a regular and thought provoking advocate for change, Danny Wolstencroft from the VSCP (Victims and survivors consultative panel to the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse), Lee Williams currently forming a support group, Phillip Lafferty , Chair of VCSA, who will discuss false accusations and the widespread effect on the survivor community and Martin Digan who blew the whistle on Knowle View, Rochdale and gave evidence to the Independent Inquiry into Childhood Sexual Abuse. Martin will give a question and answer session so if you can’t attend but have a question please email us and we can ask for you. There are still places for more speakers so if you would like to speak please contact us. We will be broadcast live on the day.
